You want to get your site recognized by the main search engines and obtain high page ranking. It’s normal and ordinary dream every blogger desire to realize. Obviously that you need to be able to get your site or blog noticed by engines like Yahoo and Google. Despite others search engines these two are treated as most powerful and outstanding. The statistics and practice say that the best and most common way to get high PR and good stats of your site is to create as much as possible incoming links. They’ll undoubtedly improve the position of your site in search engines. The crucial point on this stage is your honesty. What I mean is you have to link to a relevant site, then you have to use strong anchor text in your link to get noticed, and most importantly, it has to be RELEVANT! You know Google seems to be a kind of infernal machine that’s clever and unpredicted. For example, today it uses spy bots and cookies to bounce around the internet checking all of the information and links that are out there. In comparison with previous times search engines couldn’t do that, thus webmasters and bloggers contrive untruthful or irrelevant links to the sites they were linking to. Today it’s not so easy…because search engine has become powerful, strong and all-seeing…
So we’ve decided that webmaster today has to be careful making links. Let’s come back to the title of my post. Smart incoming links…what’s this? How does it work? Firstly, to create smart and effective links webmaster need to choose the site to link to that is relevant to his or her own site. An example, If I have a site that sells computers hardware, I would not want to try and link to a site that buys leather for coats. It would be ineffective and senseless. What’s more you can’t forget that you’re tracked down – the bots and cookies would check the links, discover that they have no relevance to one another, and give me little or no credit towards my page rankings.
Another vital factor of creating smart incoming links is anchor text. What’s this? If I link to a site or blog, the text that a person would click on to come to my site is called the anchor text. For my computer hardware site, I might want to link to the site that sells, for example, computer screens For my anchor text, I wouldn’t want to simply put “Click here”, I would put something like: “For the best computer hardware with the best computer screens, visit me.” Why is that “smart incoming linking”? Because of the relevance and the anchor text. Search engines will recognize both of those factors and give my site a higher pager ranking because I am linking to a similar site. It’s that I call smart linking…
There’s one another useful factor for making smart incoming links. It’s linking to a site that is, itself, highly rated by the search engines ( good stats in general ) and, getting your link on a webpage that has several relevant keywords in regards to your site.
To sum it up, I should say that there are a lot of ways to improve and promote your site/blog in search engines. Somebody uses black hat ( it means techniques that are used to get higher search rankings in an unethical manner) while another wants to achieve high ranking with honest methods. It’s up to you. Despite this I recommend you to follow tips described above. In the circle of skilled and experienced bloggers and webmasters these methods are the foundation of creating smart incoming links; they will help you on your way of achieving a higher page rank. Good luck!

New campaign slogan is “Fight against Boredom!” and as you see FF developers consider IE as an boring option.
They start a site and are posting there different jokes about IE and FF users and fake stats. However, new campaign didn’t go over well after all. On that site they have published fake statistics in order to show the FF preponderance, here is an extract from it: (more…)

Before starting all “the most efficient seo techniques” and invest money in advertising and promoting your site, start with your own efforts and create easily a search engine compatible site in 3 easy steps.
The first one is the most simplest. Just obey the search engine guidelines. There is even such phrase out there: “Don’t try to compete with search engines, compete with our competitors!”. You should follow this rule without any doubt, because if you make a small research you’ll see that nevertheless black hat seo is implemented somewhere but you shouldn’t do it if you are creating a site that you hope will make some money for you and will occupy decent position in Google’s SERPs.
The second one is about you presenting your site and your approach. The thing is that when you create your site, write some content or press releases or just defining your meta tags you shouldn’t be a spammer. Some webmasters used to spam everywhere, not talking even about emailing. For example your meta tags should be descriptive and comprehensive and then it will help you with your search engine position and ranking. This also considers content. Content, first of all is written for readers and visitors but not for search engines. Keyword density does play an important role for your site seo but do it smar and don’t spam. (more…)
